Lincoln: Cody So Far So Good

Chris Cody has been as good as advertised so far in this one. Through four innings, Cody has given up just one run on 3 hits, two of those coming by first baseman Brandon Buckman. He got out of a 1st and 2nd with no one out jam in the 4th, with giving up just one run. Cody has Nebraska so off balance, on a few occassions, they've almost fallen down following through on their backswing! We'll see if he can keep it up...His line thus far: 4IP 1ER 3H 0BB 2HBP (1HBP deflected of Bryce Nimmo's helmet, and both were in the third inning)....The Husker fans are itching to cheer for anything!! And there is a lot of RED here in the diamond view suite, because it's air conditioned! 84 degrees out, no humidity, barely a cloud in the sky, and no breeze!
