Lincoln: Manhattan and USF trade HR's 6-3 Manhattan

By Doug Kroll - June 04, 2006

Manhattan continues to lead USF, as each team has scored in each half inning through 3 innings of play. The game is dragging along, as we have approached the hour and a half mark and still in the top of the 4th! Not sure why they chose to play the 2nd game this evening an hour earlier than the last two nights. Of course today will be the day that we get the 4 hour marathon! Crowd has filled in more than i thought, maybe 1,000 people here in a wild elimination game...Fitzpatrick for Manhattan hit his 18th homerun of the year and tied Manhattan's all-time hit's record with 215, then Scott Cousins WCC player of the year got it right back with a blast to rightcenter field, his first hit of the tournament.
