Malibu: More Two-Out Trouble

By CSTV Editor - June 05, 2006

The Tigers extended their lead to 4-0 in the third inning after knocking out starter Barry Enright, who was pitching on just two days rest.

With McKee on third and Bond on second, a groundout by Gary Arndt got McKee home. After Olbrychowski plunked JC Field, he walked Evan Frey on four pitches to load the bases. The control problems continued for Olbrychowski, as he walked Chambers on a 3-2 pitch to force in a run.

Olbrychowski went to 2-1 on Jacob Priday, bringing another pitching change, as Brian Ozols gets the call. Priday didn't waste any time, singling to left to bring in the third run. A grounder to second ended the inning - but three runs had come home.
