Malibu: Waves Cut Deficit In Half

By CSTV Editor - June 05, 2006

Pepperdine has closed back to 4-2 and have forced a pitching change in the process, as Parker has run into two-out trouble of his own in Malibu.

The first two Waves of the sixth went quietly, but a walk to Nick Kliebert and a single by Chase d'Arnaud started the rally. Pinch hitter Mike Craig then drilled a line drive of Parker. It ricocheted to third, but John McKee threw the ball into RF and both Kliebert and d'Arnaud came around to score.

Brant Combs came in for Parker and retired the side, but its now Missouri 4-2 heading to the 7th
