NCAA: Northern baseball!

Just found an interesting fact about Nebraska's baseball team. Here are the home state's for their 39 players:
Nebraska- 14
Colorado- 7
Iowa- 5
Minnesota- 3
Kansas- 3
North Dakota- 2
South Dakota- 1
Wyoming- 1
Oklahoma- 1
Missouri- 1
Texas- 1

Note only one player from a southern school. I found that surprising. Then again, maybe that's why they're losing 2-1 to Manhattan too.
