NCAA: Question about baseball bat TV spots...

By Eric Sorenson - June 12, 2006

This question came to my mind as I watched the Super Regional games today: Which bat manufacturer television commercial did you guys like better - The Demarini commercial or the Easton commercial?

Demarini spot: (Filmed at Univ. of Portland's baseball stadium)
Guy walks up to the plate, the announcer says, "he's got the Demarini, the bat that bends!", the opposing coaches say the same thing and the pitcher gasps, before serving up a home run.

Easton spot: (Filmed in a studio set that resembles a laboratory, with extensive animation)
A team of guys walk into a lab setting, grab a bat out of thin air, step on to some platforms and start swinging at baseballs thrown by a nebulus octopus-armed mechanism.

Just got curious and thought I'd ask.
