Norman: Following Lincoln

By CSTV Editor - June 02, 2006

Wichita State worked a first-inning run off of Houston's Brad Lincoln, but the current leader in the CSTV.com Player Of The Year Watch helped get one back for the Cougars and the score is all knotted up at 1.

Lincoln has already given up four hits and walked four - so he may not have his best stuff with him in Norman. According to the Shockers' radio broadcasters, the hits have been line drives, so the Houston bullpen may need to be ready.

We're now heading to the bottom of the fourth - Lincoln got the first two batters and looked to be cruising to his first 1-2-3 inning, but Kenny Waddell worked a walk to extend the inning. The pitch count is already a serious concern, as Lincoln is at 80 through four innings of work.
