Oxford: Angry citizens
By Chris Kieffer - June 10, 2006
With Miami's Jon Jay at the plate with a 1-2 count in the fourth, OM reliever Craig Rodrigez threw a pitch that got by Jay. The umpire called a foul tip, prompting an argument from Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco and a chorus of boos from the Ole Miss fans. The fans booed again when Jon Jay singled and throughout Danny Valencia's at bat. Valencia walked to load the bases with no outs before Rodriguez used two infield pop outs and a strikeout to escape the jam.
The crowd roared and then booed again when Bianco came out to have more words with the home plate umpire Joe Burleson.
After 3.5, Miami 7, Ole Miss 3.

Chris
Give us more updates on the hits and runs being scored rather than a disputed call that we can't see. Miami-Ole Miss
