Oxford: Boos ring as inning ends

By Chris Kieffer - June 02, 2006

Ole Miss's Alex Presley singled through the left side with one out in the sixth for Ole Miss' first hit since the second inning. After B-CC pitcher R.J. Rodriguez threw over to first several times, C.J. Ketchum sent the first pitch he saw down the third base line. The ball was ruled foul, prompting Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco to argue and the Ole Miss fans to boo. Rodriguez got out of the inning by inducing Ketchum to ground out and then striking out Logan Power.
Fans booed again as players ran off the field after the strikeout.
Presley likely would have scored had the ball been ruled fair.
