Oxford: Turning a pair

By Chris Kieffer - June 11, 2006

Miami just got out of a bases loaded one-out jam in the fourth when Hurricane second baseman Roger Tomas turned a nifty double play, charging a ball up the middle, skip-stepping over 2B and then throwing the 1B.
The Canes ran out of the dugout as the players ran off the field and someone with a white polo shirt kept pumping his fists in celebration and ran all the way to the 3B line.
After 3.5 innings, Miami leads 4-0.
