Tuscaloosa: Around the Horn

By Mark Etheridge - June 02, 2006

We're not scoreless anymore, as Jacksonville State's Jason Horn just homered over the leftfield wall sending his mother - seated just below the press box - into a hysterical screaming fit closed by, "That's my boy".

Both teams have hit the ball hard but Horn's round-tripper is all the scoring we've had. LeBlanc is pitching well but is logging quite a few pitches.

There was a big play preceding the home run where a JSU runner was thrown out trying to advance on a wild pitch. Later in the at bat, Horn homered.

After 3 1/2, Jacksonville State leads 1-0.
