Tuscaloosa: Flack ends it with a bomb

By Mark Etheridge - June 10, 2006

Chad Flack will remember this night as long as he lives. He hit two home runs in two innings driving in five runs including a walkoff shot in the bottom of the ninth to send them to Omaha.

North Carolina got a one out walk by Reid Fronk. Pinch-runner Matt Spencer took second on a David Robertson wild pitch. Robertson struck out UNC 3-hole hitter Josh Horton on a nasty slider. That brought up Chad Flack, whose three run home run in the eighth gave North Carolina the lead. Flack did it again, this time an opposite field shot to right.

And the crowd chants A-C-C, A-C-C, A-C-C.
