Tuscaloosa: Valverde wins it for Bama

Alabama's Salem reached on an error and Mike Felix walked pinch hitter Kent Matthes on a 3-2 pitch bringing up clean up man Kody Valverde. Valverde had an RBI single off in the fifth and - guess what - he dribbled one through the middle again scoring Salem with the winning run.

David Robertson is the winner with Felix taking the loss.

Tide wins 4-3 on unearned run in the bottom of the ninth. Great game played at a high level.
