Malibu: Tiger Style

Missouri takes the Malibu Regional championship with its 8-3 victory over Pepperdine.

With the win, the Tigers become first No. 4-seed to advance to the Super Regionals since they came into existence in 1999.

Malibu: On A Hope And A Prayer

Mizzou goes down in order in the top of the ninth, and Pepperdine heads to the bottom of the frame needing five runs to avoid a loss in the regional championship game for the third consecutive season.

Malibu: Pepperdine's Tellem Homers, Waves Still Trail

Malibu: Moving Right Along

Two out problems again for Enright - this time leading to Missouri runs. A Derek Chambers single was followed by Jacob Priday double, with Chambers scoring as Luke Salas bobbled the ball in left.

Malibu: The Play At The Plate...

With John McKee on second and Brock Bond on first, Gary Arndt singled to center. The Tigers tried to score McKee and while the throw from CF Adrian Ortiz beat him, he slid around the tag. Unfortunately - McKee also missed the plate, and once Chad Tracy realized that, he tagged him out... 0-0 in the bottom of the second.
