Couple of Long Beach notes

Warm day, cold beer, great day for baseball at Long Beach
As opposed to the Jack Frost sponsored days my compadres Mark Etheridge and Glenn Tanner suffered through, I had to endure intense sunshine and risk of sunburn at today's Long Beach game. Temps were in the mid-70s, with no wind and no clouds. And yes, I took advantage of one of the many disappearing places in the country to buy a beer at a baseball game. Couldn't help it. Which reminds me, I was honored by being mentioned in Dr. Dan's Famous Diamond Notes in the Long Beach State program. The much-revered Doctor stated, "A tip of the flask to CSTV's Eric Sorenson, who pointed out that he has found only two college yards that serve beer, Tulane and right here at Long Beach.
