FSU/UT: Hyde has ten

By Mark Etheridge - February 03, 2007

FSU starter Michael Hyde just punched his tenth strikeout to end the sixth inning. He has a 2-0 lead entering the bottom of the sixth.

Vol starter James Adkins is set up to be the loser despite allowing just two hits. Adkins left after five frames, with two runs (1 earned). He walked two and struck out five. Nick Hernandez is in for the Vols.

Today is the second consecutive day a FSU starter has collected double-digit strikeouts.
