FSU/UT: Sunshine and snow

By Mark Etheridge - February 03, 2007

Ok, you've heard the old saying that when the sun is shining and it is raining, that the devil is beating his wife? Well, what does it mean when the sun is shining and it is snowing. That's right. It snows in Florida. But even when it does, the sun refuses to take a back seat.

As the snowflakes fell, Florida State scratched a run in the first inning off Tennessee starter James Adkins as Tony Thomas Jr raced around from second on a two-out misplay on a first baseman to pitcher covering play.

Seminole starter Michael Hyde is giving his best Bryan Henry impression just hit allowed through four.

In the bottom of the fourth, FSU leads 1-0.
