Here we go again, Brett Wallace proves me wrong

By Eric Sorenson - February 16, 2007

Last week at the Houston College Classic I mentioned to Glenn Tanner how bizarre it seemed that ASU's Brett Wallace be slated to bat lead-off for the Sun Devils, since he's built more like a linebacker instead of a base-burning bunt artist and all. Well, Wallace started off last Friday's game with Texas A&M with a triple to the wall. In my face.

Tonight, he's back to lead-off once again and guess what? He parks one over the right field wall to start things off. ASU 1, Missouri 0 after two pitches. LSU transfer Jarred Bogany added an RBI single in the 2nd inning and that's where we still stand now, 2-0 Arizona State.

We're now going into the top of the 3rd inning.
