Stan-UT: Britney Spears Shaved Her Head

By Glenn Tanner - February 17, 2007

Welcome to the millions of you who googled "Britney Spears shaved her head." My blog appreciates the page hits!

It's so windy in the press box that I'm about ready to shave my head, too. To hell with dressing professionally, I'm wearing a hat tomorrow.

After six innings, Texas leads Stanford 5-0.

Texas tacked on another run via small ball in the sixth -- Travis Tucker got on base for the third straight time today, moved to second on a sac bunt, and scored on Chais Fuller's single.

Stanford did mount their biggest threat in the sixth with a couple of singles, but nothing came of it.

Other than the wind, Texas pitcher Adrian Alaniz has been the story of the game. The junior has struck out seven and allowed only three hits, two of which didn't leave the infield. But Alaniz has thrown 96 pitches, and the Longhorn bullpen is active, so he might be hitting the showers soon.

Jeff Inman is out of the game after five for Stanford. The freshman showed flashes with four strikeouts, but allowed eight hits and four runs. Tom Stilson is pitching for the Cardinal now.

And here's Britney:
