A beautiful day for baseball in Nashville

By Chris Lee - March 10, 2007

The weather couldn't be more perfect in Nashville as the first pitch is thrown.

It's 75 degrees, with no visible threat of rain in sight. Vandy righthander Nick Christiani (3-0, 2.70, 21.1 IP, 21 K's) goes for the Commodores against UIC's Steve Crnkovich (1-1, 2.12, 17 IP, 11 K's)... and no, I didn't leave out a letter there.
