Fayetteville: Going Nutty

By Jean Neuberger - March 13, 2007

Catcher Jeff Nutt is not related to Arkansas Coach Houston Nutt, but the fans don't care, so long as he drives in runs for the Hogs. Nutt's single to left center has driven in the first run of the game, as Crichton seems rattled.

Meanwhile, the Hog fans are up and roaring. Over on the third base side, Razorback fans are waving flags and banners, while on the right side, the famous Candy Man is tossing out Double Bubble to some very lucky kids.

The attendance is becoming pretty good for a Tuesday night game. I'd say we've got about 3,000 here tonight. The high this season for the Hogs was 6,551 against Kansas on Saturday, and come SEC play, Arkansas will put 8,000-10,000 fans in the stands.
