Fayetteville: Tschepik-OW!

By Jean Neuberger - March 13, 2007

Going into tonight's game, Ben Tschepikow had five errors this season for the Razorbacks. At the pace he's going, he'll double that number by the end of the night. Tschepikow recorded his third error of the game when he muffed a slow grounder by ORU's Pat Warfle. Duke Welker, however, got Brendan Duffy out to maintain the one-run lead for the Razorbacks.

It's been a rough night for the junior from Fayetteville, and I wouldn't be surprised if Van Horn just took him out of the game....he can't afford to lose this one on errors, and the Hogs REALLY want to win this game. As Brian Walker told reporters yesterday, Arkansas "owes ORU something", since the Golden Eagles took both games from Arkansas last year, including one in the Fayetteville Regional.

I was wrong, it's not Rhoades, but rather LHP Dallas Keuchel that's warming up. Keuchel used to be a Sunday starter himself for Arkansas, and he's currently 2-1 with a 4.43 ERA for the season.
