Fullerton bites back. Crowd files in L.A. style

By Eric Sorenson - March 03, 2007

A mini two-out rally overcame Rice pitcher Ryan Berry as the first two batters went down like lambs. But Clark Hardman's infield single was followed by a 4-pitch walk to Joel Weeks. Then, Texas A&M transfer came on to get his second hit of the night, an RBI single. The Titans eventually stranded men on 2nd and 3rd when John Curtis hit into a high-chop groundout.

Going into the 4th, it's now Rice 2, Fullerton 1.

As is typical here in Smogland no matter what the event, the crowd was slow in getting to Goodwin Field tonight, but it looks like a pretty full stadium tonight. Not a sell-out, but good. I'll get you the attendance when it's announced.
