with the bases-loaded and two out, Jake Vasquez took a lumberjack swing and hit the ball a mile. People screamed. Arms raised in triumph. And the scoreboard operator was ready to change the score to 9-7. But Tyler Henley ran down the blast at the base of the fence.

The crowd groaned.
