LSU starter Charlie Furbush has ten strikeouts through five. He has overmatched most of the Tide hitters.
Only Emeel Salem (L3/HR) and Kent Matthes (F8/HR) have had any success at all.
Oddly enough, the game has three hits - all solo home runs.
2-1 Alabama top six.
