LSU went to the Jared Bradford in the sixth and Alabama greeted him with a seeing-eye leadoff single by Ryan Rhoden and a bunt single by Brandon Belcher. After the runners advanced on a sacrifice, Salem was walked intentionally loading the bases for Bradford’s Hueytown, Alabama high school teammate Jake Smith. Smith blooped a single to left scoring Rhoden and Belcher.
