USC just brought in freshman Robert Stock to close. Stock bypassed his senior season of high school and enrolled at SC. Stock walked Matt Olson to load the bases for Jake Crain. Crain just laced a liner over the bag at third that fell just foul. On the next pitch Stock made Crain wave at buried slider.

Pinch-hitter Travis Parrott tapped out to short to leave the bases loaded. Trojans up 6-4. To the ninth we go.
