Ole Miss's Jordan Henry had a very impressive at-bat against Weathers, fouling off several two-strike pitches before coaxing a leadoff walk in the ninth. Brother Justin followed with a terrific bunt to third that Pedro Alvarez charged and sent way over first baseman Brad French's head; fortunately for VU, second baseman Alex Feinberg played the ball off the wall in right to keep runners at first and third, but Zack Cozart singled over the bag at second to tie it.

First and second for the Rebels, nobody out in the ninth, tie game.
