Nashville: Jacobson done

By Chris Lee - March 18, 2007

Brett Jacobson's aftenoon is finished as the Rebels have singled twice and have runners on the corners with two outs. Freshman Mike Minor, who has been sensational so far this year, is in to pitch to leadoff man Jordan Henry.

Minor reminds me a lot of former Vandy all-American Jeremy Sowers in that he's a lefty who's unusually-polished for an 18-year old, and throws three pitches consistently for strikes, and his off-speed stuff is terrific.

And as I write, he fans Henry with a change-up swinging

The line on Jacobson: 5 1/3, 4 R, 2 ER, 6 K's, 0 BB, 1 HBP.

Still four apiece, Vandy getting ready to hit in the bottom of the sixth.
