Nashville: Lynn recovers

By Chris Lee - March 17, 2007

Lance Lynn lost his no-hitter, but with men on second and third and two outs and perhaps the nation's best hitter at the plate, recovered nicely to preserve a 6-1 lead.

Lynn fanned Pedro Alvarez on a high fastball, which is an extraordinary feat considering Alvarez's bat is one of the quickest around. Lynn has been very, very impressive and getting stronger as he nears the 120-pitch mark.
