Nashville: Rebels put more on the board
By Chris Lee - March 17, 2007
Ole Miss has struck for two more runs in the second after Vandy went scoreless in the bottom of the first. Logan Power singled to left, and then Jordan Henry topped a ball that pitcher Nick Christiani let roll down the first base line.
The ball stayed fair, and the Rebels had runners on the corners. Then, Justin Henry lined a triple that was fair by inches inside the right field foul line scoring two more.
Christiani got two line-outs to end the inning, but the Rebels have a commanding 5-0 lead against a Vandy team whose offense has struggled of late, and struggled mightily in the first two or three innings.
