Nashville: Weathers gets 'em

Casey Weathers just retired the No. 7-9 Ole Miss hitters in order. Weathers has an explosive fastball that he consistently throws 97-98 mph, but it was a terrific slider that he froze Brett Basham with on a 2-2 pitch to end the inning.

It'll be 9-1-2 (Macias, Feinberg, de la Osa) for Vandy in the ninth against Satterwhite, then 1-2-3 (Jordan and Justin Henry, Cozart) for the Rebels vs. Weathers in the bottom of the inning.

Still 5-4 Vandy, as Macias steps in the box to begin the bottom of the eighth.
