Ole Miss: And Pitching too

By Chris Kieffer - March 09, 2007

Lost in Ole Miss' seven run explosin thus far has been a pretty good outing by Will Kline.
Kline has not not allowed a run through six as Ole Miss is ahead 7-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth.

Most impressive was Kline's sixth. Singles by Alden Carrithers and Casey Hearther put runners on the corners with no outs.
Kline then struck out Brandon Crawford for his sixth K of the game.
Tim Stewart flew out to center and Carrithers didn't try to challenge Logan Powers' arm. With a 1-2 count and the crowd on its feet clapping, Tim Murphy then lined out to Powers to keep the shutout going.

Crawford is 2-3 with two singles and a strikeout. He's got 24 hits and 13 strikeouts on the season and has reached base successfully 24 of the 44 times he's put the ball in play.
