Oxford: Bama breaks it open

By Chase Parham - March 23, 2007

Alabama was subdued for seven innings, but the Crimson Tide came through in the eighth for a five-run inning and now has a two-run advantage on the Rebels.

Closer Scott Bittle walked two men with the bases loaded and a seeing-eye single by Brandon Belcher provided Bama the lead.

Crowd is silenced and Bama still batting in the eighth.

7-5 Tide.
