Oxford: Rebels add another, Bama battles back

By Chase Parham - March 23, 2007

Ole Miss picked up another run in the second when Brett Basham doubled with two outs. Jordan Henry reached multipe hits already with a shot up the middle to score Basham a batter later. The inning ended two pitches later when a line shot glanced off the pitcher's glove into the diving glove of the shortstop who regained his feet and threw to first. A quite peculiar 1-6-3 putout.

Alabama got on the board in the next half inning with a solo shot by Brandon Belcher. Greg Paiml doubled a batter later and moved around to score on consecutive groundouts.

In the top of the third, Rebels lead 3-2 on a beautiful night in Oxford.
