Rough first for Savery
By Mark Etheridge - March 25, 2007
Rice starting pitcher Joe Savery survived a rocky first inning. Although he only gave up three hits and two runs, he seemed out of sync taking a lot time between pitches, shaking off signs repeatedly, and just not looking like the first round projected draft pick he is.
His team got a run back fir him in the second on Diego Sistrunk's RBI double.
2-1 going to the second. We'll see if Savery settles into a groove.
