Speed to burn

These centerfielders can go. Alabama senior Emeel Salem leads the SEC in steals with 19 while LSU freshman Jared Mitchell is 11-11 in thefts.

What I want to see is one of these guys get on first and some gap one.

That hasn't happened yet. In fact, we've only had one baserunner in the game - an LSU walk in the second.

We go to the bottom of the third in front a strong crowd, probably 5,000 or so at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
