So much for the predicted offensive explosion.
For the second straight day, Georgia's bats have gone quiet after the first inning. Since giving up two runs in the first, USC pitcher Brad Boxberger has retired 12 of the last 16 batters he has faced.
Lefty Alex McRee now pitching for Georgia, going to the top of the sixth.
