The perfect storm

By Mark Etheridge - March 03, 2007

Harris Honeycutt held Clemson to a pair of hits and his offense pounded out three home runs in a 12-0 victory over Clemson. SC coach Ray Tanner said his team played about as well as they can play. Clemson coach Jack Leggett felt his team ran into the perfect storm. Either way you slice, it was all Gamecocks in Clemson today.

Honeycutt improved to 4-0. CU starter David Kopp fell to 1-1.

The teams meet again in Columbia at 1:30 ET Sunday.
