Trojans jump in front

By Anthony Dasher - March 02, 2007

Georgia reliever Stephen Dodson retired the first nine batters he faced, but gave up a leadoff walk to Grant Green , followed by Matt Cusick's triple to left field to put the Trojans in front, 4-3.
Following a strikeout by J.J. Owen, Johnny Bowden attempted a suicide squeeze, but Dodson pounced on the baseball and tossed to catcher Joey Lewis for the easy play at the plate. Lucas Duda followed with a groundout to second to inning....Heading to the bottom of the ninth, Trojans 4, Bulldogs 4.....Closer Paul Koss in to try and record his seventh save.
