Urena's one-hitter beats Rice 6-1

By Eric Sorenson - March 04, 2007

Big bodied and crafty, Sean Urena relied on off-speed stuff all day, going the distance for Fullerton in beating the Rice Owls 6-1.

Urena threw 110 pitches on the day, holding Rice to one hit for his first career complete game. Strong work by the Frosh.

Looks like the Rice guys will make their flights out of LAX with no problem afterall as the game lasted a brisk 2:26. Oh and the attendance was a respectable 2, 639.
