FSU at Miami (Pregame thoughts)

By Denis Brown - April 27, 2007

The sold out crowd here at Mark Light Field features a pitching matchup of FSU's Bryan Henry (10-0, 2.24) against Miami's Scott Maine (3-5, 3.43). Miami (26-17, 11-10 ACC) is going to need its A-game tonight in order to beat Florida State (37-6, 15-3 ACC)

Florida State's team batting average is higher then any single Miami hitter.
FSU's starter hasn't lost a game all season.
This is the best defensive squad in Florida State's history.
These are just some of the reasons why Florida State shouldn't have a problem.

Miami is at home and is riding a four game winning streak, which is actually an accomplishment considering the way Miami has been playing.
I was able to catch up with FSU assistant coach Mike Martin before the game and he said that his team "is always upbeat" and that you "have to throw everything out of the window when you play Miami."
On Henry, Martin said, "he is a veteran" and "he does everything to help you win." Henry will throw alot of strikes and fields his position well.

Anyway, need to save up some info for as the game goes on, but some good info to start you off with.
