Heading into the bottom of the 8th, South Carolina leads this game 8-2. The Commodores picked up their first two runs of the game on consecutive Rbi doubles by center fielder David Macias and second baseman Alex Feinberg.

The runs chased Carolina starter Blake Cooper out of the game, but not until he went 7.2 innings allowing 2 earned runson just 6 hits. The Commodores were aggresive at the plate all day long, and he took advantage of it.

It appears that Carolina is well on their to avoiding the sweep here in Columbia.
