The Gamecocks will try to salvage this weekend's series against Vanderbilt with a win at home wearing their Sunday garnet. The Commodores will look to sweep the Gamecocks wearing their gold uniforms. While there are not 6,000 fans in attendance at Sarge Frye Field, there is still a good crowd here.

The Commodores throw out Nick Christiani (5-1, 3.05 ERA, 33 K, 18 BB) against Carolina's Blake Cooper (3-0, 1.00 ERA, 17 K, 4 BB).
