LEXINGTON: Minor gets out of it

By Chris Lee - April 14, 2007

UK had Mike Minor on the ropes in the bottom of the first, but a bad break and a bat at-bat let the Commodore hurler get out of the inning without further damage.

Leading 1-0 with the bases loaded and one out, UK's Brian Spear screamed a liner towards Pedro Alvarez at third that Alvarez moved to his left and snagged eye-high for out two. Then, Minor struck out Jason Kipnis on four pitches, and the inning was done.

1-0 Wildcats, Vandy hitting with one out and none on in the second.
