LEXINGTON (sigh): Call it a night

By Chris Lee - April 14, 2007

Just minutes after the tarp had been pulled, the umpires evidently decided there was too much standing water on the warning track and perhaps at places in the outfield, even though it was barely raining.

And just as the tarp went down, the rain picked up again after almost completely stopping.

And now, they've decided to call the game. There will be a seven-inning game starting tomorrow at 1, then this game will be completed at the completion of the first.
