LEXINGTON: Slow and slower

By Chris Lee - April 13, 2007

Those are the two speeds of UK lefty starter Chris Rusin, but they worked to perfection in the top of the first.

Rusin struck out David Macias, Pedro Alvarez and Dominic de la Osa in order with an unorthodox delivery that had a slight hesitation before slinging the ball home. Evidently, it's tough to pick up, as evidenced by how Rusin made the Commodores look foolish.

No score as the Bat 'Cats get set to hit off all-American lefty David Price.
