LEXINGTON: Wiley guns 'em out

The Commodores kept on hitting in the eighth when David Macias lined a single to right, and the Commodores sent Matt Meingasner from second to the plate.

It looked as if Meingasner would score without much of a problem, but UK right fielder Keenan Wiley threw a one-bounce laser on a line to catcher Sean Coughlin, and Meingasner was out by several feet.

Stephen Shao still on in the eighth against the 5-7 spots in the UK order.

It's 8-7 Vanderbilt, bottom of eight in Lexington.
