LSU-MSU: Still Locked Up

By Glenn Tanner - April 21, 2007

LSU and Mississippi State are still tied 5-5 in the middle of the eighth.

The Tigers actually got three walks in the top of the eighth, but never threatened because of two caught stealings in the inning.

MSU starter Justin Pigott was finally pulled after the second walk. His final line: 7.1 innings, 7 hits, 5 earned runs, 3 walks, 10 K's. 119 pitches. He should sleep well tonight. Rickey Bowen is on in relief.
