NASHVILLE: 8, 10, 15

By Chris Lee - April 07, 2007

Those are the pitch counts, by inning, for Vandy's Mike Minor, who's faced one over the minimum so far. Minor gave up a two-out double down the third-base line that Pedro Alvarez probably should have fielded, but couldn't get to.

Minor got out of the jam, however, by retiring the next hitter, Brandon Belcher, on a pop to shallow left.

It goes without saying that the game is still scoreless after 2 1/2.
